Alt R A on Mac: Accept menu in Word

To open the Accept menu with Alt R A in Word on a Mac, install LightningXL, tap Option, then type R, A. The same keys as Windows, with the same result.

Step by step

1. Install LightningXL

   Download LightningXL, then follow the instructions. Setup takes about two minutes.

2. Select what to act on

   Put the cursor where you want it, or select the text or object.

3. Tap Option, then type R A

   Tap ⌥ on its own to show the key tips, then R for Review, A for Accept. That opens the Accept menu; the next key tips show the items in it.

What Alt R A does

Alt R A opens the Accept menu on the Review tab of Word. Type one more key to pick an item:

• ⌥RAM Accept and Move to Next
• ⌥RAC Accept This Change
• ⌥RAS Accept All Changes Shown
• ⌥RAA Accept All Changes
• ⌥RAT Accept All Changes and Stop Tracking
