Alt H O U on Mac: Hide & Unhide menu in Excel
To open the Hide & Unhide menu with Alt H O U in Excel on a Mac, install LightningXL, tap Option, then type H, O, U. The same keys as Windows, with the same result.

Install LightningXL

Select what to act on
Click a cell, or select the range the command should apply to.
Tap Option, then type H O U
Tap ⌥ on its own to show the key tips, then H for Home, O for Format, U for Hide & Unhide. That opens the Hide & Unhide menu; the next key tips show the items in it.
What Alt H O U does
Alt H O U opens the Hide & Unhide menu on the Home tab of Excel. Type one more key to pick an item:
