Alt P T W N on Mac: In Front of Text in Word
To run In Front of Text with Alt P T W N in Word on a Mac, install LightningXL, tap Option, then type P, T, W, N. The same keys as Windows, with the same result.
Step by step
Install LightningXL
Download LightningXL, then follow the instructions. Setup takes about two minutes.
Select what to act on
Put the cursor where you want it, or select the text or object.
Tap Option, then type P T W N
Tap ⌥ on its own to show the key tips, then P for Layout, T W for Wrap Text, N for In Front of Text.
What Alt P T W N does
In Front of Text sits under Layout › Wrap Text on the Word ribbon. On Windows, Alt P T W N runs it from the keyboard. Word for Mac has the same ribbon but no Alt key, so without LightningXL you click through Layout › Wrap Text › In Front of Text instead.
