Alt M F E on Mac: Edit Individual Documents in Word
To run Edit Individual Documents with Alt M F E in Word on a Mac, install LightningXL, tap Option, then type M, F, E. The same keys as Windows, with the same result.

Install LightningXL
Download LightningXL, then follow the instructions. Setup takes about two minutes.
Select what to act on
Put the cursor where you want it, or select the text or object.
Tap Option, then type M F E
Tap ⌥ on its own to show the key tips, then M for Mailings, F for Finish & Merge, E for Edit Individual Documents.
What Alt M F E does
Edit Individual Documents sits under Mailings › Finish & Merge on the Word ribbon. On Windows, Alt M F E runs it from the keyboard. Word for Mac has the same ribbon but no Alt key, so without LightningXL you click through Mailings › Finish & Merge › Edit Individual Documents instead.
