Alt N S 3 S on Mac: Stock 3D Models in PowerPoint

To run Stock 3D Models with Alt N S 3 S in PowerPoint on a Mac, install LightningXL, tap Option, then type N, S, 3, S. The same keys as Windows, with the same result.

Step by step

1. Install LightningXL

   Download LightningXL, then follow the instructions. Setup takes about two minutes.

2. Select what to act on

   Select the slide, text or object the command should apply to.

3. Tap Option, then type N S 3 S

   Tap ⌥ on its own to show the key tips, then N for Insert, S 3 for 3D Models, S for Stock 3D Models.

What Alt N S 3 S does

Stock 3D Models sits under Insert › 3D Models on the PowerPoint ribbon. On Windows, Alt N S 3 S runs it from the keyboard. PowerPoint for Mac has the same ribbon but no Alt key, so without LightningXL you click through Insert › 3D Models › Stock 3D Models instead.
