Alt J I I M on Mac: Ink to Math in PowerPoint
To run Ink to Math with Alt J I I M in PowerPoint on a Mac, install LightningXL, tap Option, then type J, I, I, M. The same keys as Windows, with the same result.
Step by step
Install LightningXL
Download LightningXL, then follow the instructions. Setup takes about two minutes.
Select what to act on
Select the slide, text or object the command should apply to.
Tap Option, then type J I I M
Tap ⌥ on its own to show the key tips, then J I for Draw, I M for Ink to Math.
What Alt J I I M does
Ink to Math sits on the Draw tab of the PowerPoint ribbon. On Windows, Alt J I I M runs it from the keyboard. PowerPoint for Mac has the same ribbon but no Alt key, so without LightningXL you click through Draw › Ink to Math instead.
