Alt H M M on Mac: More SmartArt Graphics in PowerPoint

To run More SmartArt Graphics with Alt H M M in PowerPoint on a Mac, install LightningXL, tap Option, then type H, M, M. The same keys as Windows, with the same result.

Step by step

1. Install LightningXL

   Download LightningXL, then follow the instructions. Setup takes about two minutes.

2. Select what to act on

   Select the slide, text or object the command should apply to.

3. Tap Option, then type H M M

   Tap ⌥ on its own to show the key tips, then H for Home, M for Convert to SmartArt, M for More SmartArt Graphics.

What Alt H M M does

More SmartArt Graphics sits under Home › Convert to SmartArt on the PowerPoint ribbon. On Windows, Alt H M M runs it from the keyboard. PowerPoint for Mac has the same ribbon but no Alt key, so without LightningXL you click through Home › Convert to SmartArt › More SmartArt Graphics instead.
