Alt H A X on Mac: Text Direction menu in PowerPoint
To open the Text Direction menu with Alt H A X in PowerPoint on a Mac, install LightningXL, tap Option, then type H, A, X. The same keys as Windows, with the same result.

Install LightningXL

Select what to act on
Select the slide, text or object the command should apply to.
Tap Option, then type H A X
Tap ⌥ on its own to show the key tips, then H for Home, A X for Text Direction. That opens the Text Direction menu; the next key tips show the items in it.
What Alt H A X does
Alt H A X opens the Text Direction menu on the Home tab of PowerPoint. Type one more key to pick an item:
