Alt G T B on Mac: Background Styles menu in PowerPoint
To open the Background Styles menu with Alt G T B in PowerPoint on a Mac, install LightningXL, tap Option, then type G, T, B. The same keys as Windows, with the same result.

Install LightningXL

Select what to act on
Select the slide, text or object the command should apply to.
Tap Option, then type G T B
Tap ⌥ on its own to show the key tips, then G for Design, T B for Background Styles. That opens the Background Styles menu; the next key tips show the items in it.
