Alt X Q A on Mac: Quick Save As... in Excel
To run Quick Save As... with Alt X Q A in Excel on a Mac, install LightningXL, tap Option, then type X, Q, A. The same keys as Windows, with the same result.

Install LightningXL
Download LightningXL, then follow the instructions. Setup takes about two minutes.
Select what to act on
Click a cell, or select the range the command should apply to.
Tap Option, then type X Q A
Tap ⌥ on its own to show the key tips, then X for LightningXL, Q for Save, A for Quick Save As....
What Alt X Q A does
Quick Save As... sits under LightningXL › Save on the Excel ribbon. On Windows, Alt X Q A runs it from the keyboard. Excel for Mac has the same ribbon but no Alt key, so without LightningXL you click through LightningXL › Save › Quick Save As... instead.
