Alt X C on Mac: Cells menu in Excel
To open the Cells menu with Alt X C in Excel on a Mac, install LightningXL, tap Option, then type X, C. The same keys as Windows, with the same result.

Step by step
Install LightningXL
Download LightningXL, then follow the instructions. Setup takes about two minutes.
Select what to act on
Click a cell, or select the range the command should apply to.
Tap Option, then type X C
Tap ⌥ on its own to show the key tips, then X for LightningXL, C for Cells. That opens the Cells menu; the next key tips show the items in it.
What Alt X C does
Alt X C opens the Cells menu on the LightningXL tab of Excel. Type one more key to pick an item:
