Alt A R A on Mac: Refresh All in Excel
To run Refresh All with Alt A R A in Excel on a Mac, install LightningXL, tap Option, then type A, R, A. The same keys as Windows, with the same result.
Step by step
Install LightningXL
Download LightningXL, then follow the instructions. Setup takes about two minutes.
Select what to act on
Click a cell, or select the range the command should apply to.
Tap Option, then type A R A
Tap ⌥ on its own to show the key tips, then A for Data, R for Refresh All, A for Refresh All.
What Alt A R A does
Refresh All sits under Data › Refresh All on the Excel ribbon. On Windows, Alt A R A runs it from the keyboard. Excel for Mac has the same ribbon but no Alt key, so without LightningXL you click through Data › Refresh All › Refresh All instead.
